230 Million Years Ago
The oldest creature on earth, dinosaurs are of many different types. The oldest dinosaur was about 230 million years ago which were called prosauropods. They were found in Madagascar. List of early dinosaurs include some others as well like Pisanosaurus from Argentina, Saturnalia from Brazil, Herrerasaurus from Argentina, Staurikosaurus from Brazil and Lesothosaurus from South Africa.

20 Million Years Ago
The Asian big beast also known as ‘Paraceratherium’ is one of the largest animals on earth. It’s an extinct genus of gigantic hornless rhinoceros that were as heavy as 20 tones. They were around 5 to 6 meter tall. Sir Clive Forster Cooper wasthe one who discovered huge bones in Balochistan which is the largest province of Pakistan, and came to a result after a long time about its height and age that is 20 million years approx. Blauchitherium was the largest mammals in the world.

It is another ancient mammal that is one of the biggest with the length of 6 meters and weight of around 4 tons. They came in to existence five millions years before now. They lived in Woodlands of South America and their diet is plants. These ground sloths are extinct of armadillos and anteaters.
7: Wooly Mammoth
2 Million Years ago
This species of mammoth is the last of its line. They are from the extinct of elephants with the average age of 60 years. Asian elephants are the closest relative to the wooly mammoth. Males could be as tall as 3.4 meters where females can be about 2.9 meters tall. They were last seen about two million years ago. They use to live across northern Eurasia and North America.

Smilodon which are also known as SaberToothed Cat were from the extinct of genus of machairodont felid. 10,000 years old residents of North and South America varies in many different sizes. It was as long as 6 feet with big teeth and ability to jump well. They used to live in closed places like forests and bushes while their food was camels and bison. Big animals may be the cause of their extinct.
5: Gomphothere

About five million years ago they get into existence. It is also from the extinct of animals and the amazing thing about them is that they use to have four tasks. Except Australia and Antarctica, they were the Habitants of all the other parts of the world. They were smaller in size then the normal elephant and weight weren’t much as well. Gomphothere were good migrates too as the migrated from North America to Asia and then to other parts of the world.
4: Triceratops
65 Million Years Ago
One of the most recognized dinosaurs in Hollywood movies is 68 to 65.5 million years old and were the last dinosaurs standing. It use to have two normal sized and one small Horne on its nose. North American beasts with the length of 7.9 to 9.0 meters and height of 2.9 to 3.0 meter were from the family of herbivorous ceratopsid dinosaur. Its face was about 1/3rd of its full body and it used its horns defensively against predators.

These four meter high giants can be resembled easily to elephants. The only difference is that it has smaller trunk and the tasks are curved down words. With the height of 4 meters they were the largest species in the elephant family which were inhabitants of patchy savannah-land of Africa. They lived around 20-2 million years ago and they were also known as “terrible beast”.

Neither Irish nor an Elk these2.1 meter tall mammals are the largest member of dears lived. 3.65 m weighing up to 40 kg are the largest antlers of any known cervid. The average weight of this creature is around 540 to 600 kg. Irish elk existed 7000 to 8000 years ago all across Europe and Asia, and in North Africa.
1: Giant Beaver
1.4 Million Years Ago
These 60 to 100 kg weighted beavers lived in North America. They were 2.4 meters long just like the modern black bears. Its fossils found in Florida are 1.4 million years old. They are named as giant beavers but its sister species Castoroides were the hugest of all beavers.
